Vegan Eggplant Steak
Inspired by Gordon Ramsay's viral vegan steak, Rosa decided to make her own variation as a 4th of July special. While Ramsay makes his on the stove, Rosa’s family grilled it on the BBQ.
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup tamari sauce
2 Tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons garlic chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne
Broil the eggplant for about 6-8 minutes until the skin starts to darken. Let cool and peel the skin. Cut the eggplant in half lengthwise and pour the marinade over the halved eggplant. Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours. BBQ slow over medium heat until tender and enjoy!
